Maureen F. Nichols, P.E. Principal Engineer
Ms. Nichols is a founder of the firm and serves as Principal Engineer and President. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Florida with 18 years of experience in all aspects of environmental project work with a concentration in soil and groundwater remediation. Responsibilities range from Phase I environmental site assessments and contamination assessments to hazardous and non-hazardous materials management and remedial system design and implementation. Ms. Nichols has performed and provided oversight for pilot testing activities, remedial system design and construction, underground and aboveground storage tank removals and environmental drilling.

Maureen Nichols

David B. Twedell, Principal Scientist
Mr. Twedell, with over 30 years of technical expertise, has managed hundreds of projects entailing the assessment and remediation of petroleum and non-petroleum contamination throughout the United States. He has experience in environmental contamination assessments, computer modeling for long-term environmental impact of facilities, waste management, hydrogeologic evaluations and field inspections of permitted facilities, and UST closures assessment and remediation. His career includes serving as an Environmental Specialist for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection; and his participation in the development of standard environmental audit procedures ultimately resulted in the current ASTM No. E-1527 Standard. He currently serves on the Orange County Environmental Protection Commission and is Chairman for the Environmental Subcommittee for the Developer's Council of the Mid-Florida Home Builder's Association.
